Welcome to GET COOKING MONTH on Momtrends. This May we are going to focus on feeding your family (and there will be plenty of contests, tips and recipes). To get started, I am going to talk about some new feeding gear I received from Baby Bjorn.
Baby Bjorn sent me an Eat & Play Smock. My 16 month old has a intense dislike of bibs--she can rip off just about anything--snap, Velcro or tie. So I didn't have high hopes for this. Thankfully she just views it as another top not a restraining device. It was no battle whatsoever to get it on. Since she is now set her sights on feeding herself this is an essential addition to our kitchen. And it also comes in handy for messy art projects (who am I kidding everything this baby does is messy). It's machine washable and comes in bright, cheery colors. $25.95 at BabyEarth.com
The other item we tried out is the Baby Bjorn Booster SeatThis item was tested out on the older girl (3). We took it on a trip and it was the perfect height to allow our daughter to enjoy her meal free of a bulky high chair. It has a simple, secure attachment and is a snap to wipe clan after spaghetti and meatballs. BabyBjörn does not use chemical additives such as cadmium, lead, bisphenol A (BPA), phthalates, bromine or chlorine. In addition, their plastics are also PVC free and recyclable! $25.95 at BabyEarth.com
