The Veggiecation Program, a curriculum based nutrition education concept that introduces elementary level students to the delicious world of vegetables while teaching them the importance of health and nutrition, announces “Students can have their math and eat it too,” with its national classroom giveaway contest for the 2011 - 2012 school year. Veggiecation provides teachers with adaptable lessons and supporting materials so that educators can seamlessly integrate health and nutrition lessons in the classroom. Veggiecation incorporates kid-friendly vegetable preparations and empowers students to expand their horizons while improving their nutritional status.

The contest is open to all elementary level educators as well as students and parents who want to win a 1-month Veggiecation Program for their classrooms. Prize contestants will post their reason why they would like to teach or learn about healthy eating and become vegetable literate.
