A few days ago Vanessa Williams and the SPLENDA® Brand partnered to kick off the #SweetSwaps charitable social media campaign, as part of the 365 SWEET SWAPS™ initiative.

This exciting initiative seeks to encourage Americans to live healthier lifestyles by making small changes that can lead to big results over time, through a charity partnership benefiting the American Diabetes Association.

She then invited everyone to join her by encouraging them to swap sugar for SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener and make other small changes that, as part of a healthier lifestyle, can lead to big results over time. For one month, for every time someone shares a “Swap” with #SweetSwaps hashtag, SPLENDA® Brand will make a donation to the American Diabetes Association (up to $25,000).

The critically-acclaimed singer and actress also shared tips on how to reduce calories from added sugar and showcased her favorite ways to swap sugar for SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, while guests were treated to samples of her favorite recipes made with SPLENDA® Sweeteners.

To drive home the message, Vanessa posed with 71.5 pounds of added sugar, the amount eaten by the average American each year, to promote the SPLENDA® SWEET SWAPS™ initiative to encourage people to lead healthier lifestyles by making small changes that can lead to big results over time.
