Sustainable Dining Tables

strip

We're kicking off "Go Green" month with something a bit unusual for a Friday post. We regularly feature food and recipes, but today it's all about the table. Deciding how your serve your meals can have almost as big of an impact, as what you serve.

At casa de Momtrends, we opted for a table from the Environment Furniture collection. This is the spot where we found our Strip dining room table. The table is constructed from naturally aged, reclaimed Peroba wood that is recovered from old buildings and restored. We love the rustic finish and think it is modern while also having a history.

We found the Brevara Design Slatt Table when checking out other blogs. The 3Rings blog is chock full of sustainable options. This table is made from plantation grown teak--showing that sleek style can be as green as can be.
