Smirnoff Sorbet Light

smirnoff light

My 2013 summer plans involve sun, fun and time away from the city. While I love the energy of The Big Apple, summer is a great time to step off the treadmill. Our trips involve heading to Montreal for the Cirque de Soleil Festival, two weeks in Italy and the big BlogHer Conference in Chicago. When I'm not traveling, you can find me reporting on trends remotely. This city girl hangs up her heels for a few months and heads to flip-flop territory in NW Connecticut. Think green lawns, pools, grilled dinners and yes, the glorious sunset cocktail.

We do a lot of casual entertaining. Usually I get inspired by the local farmer's market and whip up a bunch of grilled veggies and maybe a bit of fresh fish. While Mr. Momtrends mans the grill, I serve cocktails to our friends. This summer I'm going to be whipping up a twist on the traditional Mojito. It's lighter and tangier than ever thanks to the new Smirnoff Sorbet Light.
