On the Go Snack Ideas from CVS Gold Emblem Abound

You may remember last week when I mentioned that I’m a bit of a snacker. Well, a good majority of that snacking occurs on the go. And as I head into the back to school season, I know that my need for on the go snacks is just going to increase. Not only will I be running two kiddos to and from two different schools, but I also work full time and with that work comes events and lots of travel...which I love to be honest. Basically, I need all the energy I can muster and I certainly can’t access any energy reserves if I’m not fueled up properly!

So, let’s take a look at a typical day pour moi...I’m willing to bet it’s not much different than the days of you fellow busy mamas! We’re out the door for the first school drop off by 7:30 and then it’s on to the next one at 9:00. I would love to say that I sit down and eat the hot meal that we put out for the kids, but more often than not, I’m running around packing backpacks and trying to squeeze in a little bit of work before we leave. And that’s why bars are my best friend. The CVS Gold Emblem Abound line is full of delicious bars that I can keep in my bag when I’m too busy to sit down in the morning.

We've hit the winter lull--that lengthy stretch of season with no plans, no parties, nothing to do, and nowhere to go. I have to admit that at first, I welcomed the quiet obligation-free weekends of January. After the nonstop hustle-bustle pace of November and December, my family more

Bars are also perfect for travel and much better than the “snacks” they typically hand out on the airplane! I don’t always have time to grab lunch once I land. I often find myself rushing right to a meeting. Snacking is a lifesaver at those times for sure! And if I don’t have CVS Gold Emblem Abound bars in my bag, you’ll probably find their Almonds in there. Talk about your healthy pick me up. Almonds are a fan favorite and I don’t have to feel guilty one bit about that snack!
