Have you tried chia seeds yet? Called a "superfood" by some, chia seeds are a rich source of protein, antioxidants, essential omega-3 fatty acids and fiber. These super seeds are also an excellent source of essential minerals such as phosphorous, manganese, calcium, sodium and potassium.

I've been using chia seeds from Nutiva and like adding them into smoothies, on my peanut butter, in my homemade granola and in baked goods like muffins and breads. I choose to include them for their omega-3s and protein - anything to help fill up my three boys who are always hungry!
