Do you look forward to Easter as much as I do? Not only is it such a peace filled day, but I love how my family gathers together for our annual Easter egg hunt and luncheon. We don't need a reason to want to spend quality time together, but it can be so hard with everyone's busy schedules to get us all in one place at one time. Thank goodness for holidays! And Easter is such a blast for the kiddos...Ever since I became a mom, even my favorite holidays have become so much more FUN!

That being said, it can be a bit difficult for the little ones to to wait for lunch after the last egg has been found, so we like to keep them busy with fun Easter crafts and even some treats. Sweets aren't an every day occurrence in our house, so I'm ok with breaking the rules and letting them enjoy a bit more than usual on special occasions like holidays, but I totally get that not all treats have to be candy, so I have a non-candy treat option for you too!
How about you set up an Easter photo booth like this one I found at Sunny Sweet Days? Let the kids play photographer and take pictures of each other with these fun photo props that they can make themselves!
They're probably going to get more candy than they need today, so why not round some of it up and have the kids join you in the kitchen to make some tasty candy bark like this one from BonBon Rose Girls. After you're done, you can serve it for dessert!
And in case you missed it, we used Halo mandarins to create some adorable non-candy Easter treats! What wee one could resist their very own bunny made from delicious Halos? Frankly, I want one of my own. Haha!
