EatStrong Energy Bar

Like many moms, I'm on the run. I spend much time in my car, driving kids to martial arts, Brownies and other activities. I can't always take a break when I'd like to sit down and eat a meal, and many on-the-go options are unhealthy or less than tasty. I need something healthy, filling, and portable enough to fit in my purse.

The new EatStrong Trail Mix and Energy Bars ($2.50 each) fit the criteria. The energy bars feature a mixture of sunflower, hemp and flax seeds, along with organic chocolate. The bars provide a balance of Omega-3 and Omega-6 Essential fatty Acids, along with whey protein, all an important part of energy production, and still maintain a great taste, "just like a regular granola bar" according to my daughter. Family sampling time received four thumbs up from the 8 and 5 year old taste testers, along with mom and dad.

The trail mix also provides a great mixture of protein and Omega-3 acids. It features a blend of walnuts, cashews, pistachios and almonds, along with flax and sunflower seeds, and organic chocolate drops. The second taste test also received rave reviews, with the kids scouting for the chocolate chips, of course, and the adults noting the lack of a salty aftertaste.

EatStrong Energy Bars and Trail Mix are available at the Snack Shop on EatStrong.
