Being that it's National Tortilla Chip Day, I figured it was the perfect time to talk about one of my favorite appetizers to eat tortilla chips with, guacamole, as well as a slew of other fabulous partners for the salty goodness that is the tortilla chip. But first guac...I love love love guac. I put it on my eggs...I put it on my sandwiches...I put it on my tacos obviously...Basically guac goes on anything and everything in my house. Haha! Ok, that might be a slight exaggeration, but you get my drift.
What better way to serve guacamole and tortilla chips than as part of a nacho bar? The Shopping Mama can show you how! They whipped up the tastiest looking nacho bar for a tailgating celebration recetnly. I don't see why February 24th, or any day really, can't be worthy of a nacho bar celebration too!
And for a delicious guacamole recipe to add to that nacho bar, head over to BonBon Rose Girls. Their super simple guac will have you feeling like it's a balmy summer day with the very first bite. I also love how they served fresh veggies with their guac along with tortilla chips. I'm all about options!
