Short of hiring The Rockettes to dance or a clown to ham it up, I'??m always trying to find ways to make meal time interesting. Something, anything to draw my daughter'??s attention to her food. Otherwise, it'??s impossible to stop that little adorable motor-mouth from talking and focus on eating.
Now she can talk to her food. Hello Kitty to be exact. With the new Hello Kitty Sandwich Maker from Marino Andriani'??s Sparklebee, she has HK'??s adorable little face looking back at her on grilled cheese and hot paninis.
This is an adorable way to add a little fun to mealtime. Just make your sandwich, pop it between the plates once the indicator light says its ready, click it closed and in three minutes you have a Hello Kitty smile. And clean up is never '??fun,'? but the non-stick surfaces at least make it less of a mess.

The only thing I would say is that I'??m not sure what bread they had on hand when they made this appliance. I had to cut the crusts off our already small slices, but they still weren'??t small enough to actually close the lid shut. So the next batch I cut off even more from the sides. Finally, success. I made a tasty Hello Kitty melted peanut butter and banana sammie. My daughter was speechless. For once.
The Hello Kitty Sandwich Maker is available at Target for $19.99 or on Amazon.
