Here's a trend we can stand behind--vending machines in schools that don't sell junk. In Kansas they've replaced the m&ms; and coke with carrots and mango juice thanks in part to a new company called www.freshvending.com. We hope this trend is sweeping the nation.
In 2010, President Obama's signed the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act into law which sets a national nutritional standard in schools. Fresh Healthy Vending saw an opportunity, and they are now North America's leading healthy vending franchisor. According to the company, they will only carry 100% juices, fresh vegetables, fruits, smoothies, and yogurts.
Now our question is? Are you going to call up your school and insist on getting the junk out and the good stuff in?
