Welcome to My World: Jersey Shore

We're traveling to the Jersey Shore to "visit" with Carly and her cute boys as she shows us the best of the best at the Jersey Shore for summer!

Carly is a personal stylist, shopper, and fashion blogger at ThirtySomethingFashion. We adore her 30-something mom style. Let's check out her favorite places along the Jersey Shore!

Best Place to Get Ice cream? Let's start this tour off with ICE CREAM! The Jersey Shore is known for great ice cream, specifically from Hoffman's. In business since 1955, originally as a Carvel franchise, they made the switch to crafting their own delicious goodness in 1976 and haven't looked back. Everything is handmade from the best ingredients at their flagship location in Point Pleasant Beach. My boys are addicted to their chocolate milkshakes (made with hard not soft), but I am a Mint Chocolate Chip's literally the best thing in the world. With four locations along the shoreline, it is THE best place to stop in for a delicious treat with your family at the Jersey Shore. #yummy

Favorite Kids Clothing Store? I love shopping. In fact, it is my career, making it very easy for me to pick my favorite kids boutique. Sarah Kiddles, located in downtown Point Pleasant Beach, has the cutest curation of kids clothing, accessories and gifts. I love so many of the boutique brands they carry like Angel Dear, Hatley, and Vineyard Vines. They also carry a line of sweaters hand-loomed locally, completely washable and dryer safe. I have purchased so many for my boys but it is also my go-to gift for showers, birthdays, or any children's celebration. If you are in town, you must pop by this delightful store and snatch one up for your kiddies. #happyshopping

Tips on writing and receiving letters from Santa

One of the most iconic holiday scenes has to be a child sitting upon Santa's lap sharing (in hushed voices) his big wishes of gifts to be found under the tree on Christmas morning. Santa reminding children to write to him at the North Pole, with promises of dreams come true. We more

We've Been Boozed! {Free Printable}

By now most of you have probably seen the tradition of boo'ing your neighbors for Halloween. You gather a few treats for the kiddos, put them into a cute bag, ring the doorbell and run! My kids were boo'd a few nights ago and it was so fun to see their faces light up with more

Our Favorite Halloween Treat Bags

We are so excited for Halloween this year. On top of the perfect costumes kids will need a bag to store and hold their bounty of candy! This year we're starting early on the celebration and talking about updating our candy sacks. Check out our favorite Halloween treat bags. more

Best Place to take Family Photos? Without a doubt, I love Sea Girt for family photos. It is one of the few places locally that the greenery meets the sea, so you are able to capture both the lushness as well as the wide open space of ocean in the background. With pretty strict rules about eating, drinking and smoking on the beach, you will find them to be the cleanest and safest the Jersey Shore has to offer. #pictureperfect

Favorite Place to Get Outdoors? If you come to the Jersey Shore you have to hit Jenkinsons Boardwalk. There is something for everyone including miniature golf, arcades, boardwalk games, amusement rides, and an aquarium all nestled along the most beautiful ocean views. Starting in late June and lasting through August, Jenkinsons offers a free Thursday night firework show and free Friday night movie on the beach. My extended family and I make this a summertime tradition and always hit at least a few weeks. Simply bring your blanket and enjoy the entertainment. #familyfun

I hope you have enjoyed some highlights from the beautiful Jersey Shore. As we reach our seventh year residing in our seaside town, I can't imagine living anywhere else. You can keep up with my family and our style on my blog ThirtySomethingFashion, Instagram or Facebook! Hope to hear from you:) #welcometomyworld
