The Perfect Mat for Monkeying Around at the Park

If you haven't noticed, we're all about picnic season here at The Shopping Mama. Really, anything that brings us outdoors is a win. Now that the warm weather has arrived, you can find us at the park, playground, or pool most days. One thing that always comes with us: our Monkey Mat. This oversize sheet stays in my diaper bag all spring and summer. It's great for the beach, outdoor concerts, soccer practice, airport floors, and more!

The mat itself is large, but it folds up compactly into a nifty attached pouch. The corners are weighted—or there are loops for stakes, and it's water repellent so you don't have to worry about unexpected rain, wet-from-the-pool kids, and inevitable toddler spills.
