Every holiday season, before I even think about finishing the gift lists, I stress about holiday outfits for the kids. Yes, my time and energy is spent searching for Santa-picture-worthy coordinating outfits for my three kids. I will carry on the tradition of dressing them in cute outfits for as long as they will let me, and I know it won't be forever.
This year, the kids will be decked out in classic holiday plaid, navy and rich red outfits from Lands' End. The outfits were the centerpiece of our Holiday Gift Guide - we love how they reflect the spirit of the season.
Here are some outtakes from the Lands' End cover shoot that didn't make the cut. I'm biased, but I love these because they show of the kids personalities in the clothes.
Now, for some outfit details. My growing-too-fast girl - she just turned 7! - is wearing the Gathered Waist Twirl Dress in rich red plaid with the Sophie Cardigan in midnight navy, Pom Headband and navy and white polka dot Tights.

My big boy is rocking all the accessories! He's wearing the Poplin Shirt in rich red gingham, 5 Pocket Cord in washed nut and the Zipper Front Cardigan in classic navy. I love the CashTouch Scarf and, of course, the Faux Fur Lined Trapper Hat.
I originally picked the Trapper Hat for Max, but this guy has claimed it as his own. Yes, my 3 and 8 year old boys can share hats. And they share socks. And the big one has a smaller waist size. It's good times shopping online for these boys, but thanks to skinny waisted pants and adjustable waistbands, clothes from Lands' End always fit.
