End-of-Summer Tropical Party

The end of the summer signifies back to school, cooler temperatures, and all the yummy things that come with Fall. But while we still can, let us bask one last time in the glorious rays of the sun by celebrating all which summer bestowed upon us in the form of a tropical party.

To dress your scene, gather up as many tropical and fruit inspired decorations that you can. I found some fabulous things at the dollar store, in the bins at Target, and of course my favorite stop of all, Michaels. You can always craft some simple decorations by using hole punchers and stamps--- stamp a leaf to an invitation or right onto a napkin or table cover. Make pineapple confetti with a punch to throw across your table.

A brand that I've come to know and love is Meri Meri. Their simple, colorful, and festive party supplies are so charming you'll want to use them every single day. (And go ahead!)

Your tropical party also needs some fruit. Take a skewer and add in your favorite fruits like strawberries, watermelon, pineapple, and grapes. I added some wooden fruit around the table for a playful touch.
