Bright Cellars Wine Delivery Club {Review} and Hosting a Wine Social
I'm no wine connoisseur but I do enjoy a glass of wine and I recently discovered Bright Cellars, a monthly wine delivery club.
Bright Cellars isn't just any wine delivery service though, they personalize your wine experience to best suit your tastes. You start by taking their online wine quiz to customize your experience. They ask you several simple questions about how you like to enjoy your wine, what is your favorite chocolate and what kinds of things do you like to drink. From your answers they build your profile and suggest wines they think you will love. Then, Bright Cellars will match you with 4 bottles of wine. You get to try 4 new bottles of wine each month.
Take their free wine quiz now to see what wines you get matched with!
I was in it to try unique new wines so I went into this experience with an open mind. I was pleasantly surprised that after taking their wine quiz they matched me with a German Riesling. After living in Germany for nearly 4 years, German Riesling truly has become one of my favorite wines. It was crazy awesome that they knew that!?
When my Bright Cellars box arrived I was excited to tear into it and check out my new wines. Each bottle was curated from all around the world and came wrapped in pretty tissue paper, secured with a wine quote sticker and tucked snuggly in a crate.
After trying your wines you can rate them to get better matches. Save your favorites and they'll let you know when they go on sale! If you absolutely don't like a bottle, let them know and they will supply you with a replacement bottle in your next month's box.
Even though Bright Cellars is a personalized experience I wanted to share it with some friends. I decided to host a casual wine social for some of the ladies in my neighborhood.
I set the scene on my patio with some cute string lights from HomeGoods. I strung 2 sets together and zig zagged them across the sitting area of my patio for a fun touch and a little ambience. I'm slowly working on adding some colorful plants around too but since we live in Arizona I had to buy my first cactus for the table.

Favorite Fleece Leggings from Amazon
When you live in cold-weather areas, the right layers make all the difference. I've come to love fleece-lined leggings as a go-to layering piece for winter. A little cold doesn't scare me, I know it's all about finding the right gear. I won't stay inside in winter, I just need ...read more
Why Palisades Tahoe Deserves a Spot on Every Skier’s Bucket List
This was my third visit to Palisades Tahoe, which happens to coincide nicely with their 75th anniversary. Over the 15 years I’ve known the resort, they’ve undergone significant changes. First, they acquired their neighbor, Alpine Meadows. Then came the name change from Squaw ...read more
The string lights and a couple of colorful outdoor throw pillows in the chairs (also from HomeGoods) brightened up this dull space.
I added some color on the table with these tiny Citronella glass candles and cheese serving plate. Both were great deals at HomeGoods and their bright colors and fun patterns made me smile. It was really starting to feel like a party!
I served 2 light snacks for the ladies to munch on. Along with some hummus and sweet potato chips I also had goat cheese and blueberry preserves on mini toast bites, toast-inis!
This snack was inspired by a yummy blueberry goat cheese that my mom used to serve as an appetizer. We can't find that cheese anymore so I recreated it. The blueberry preserves offer just enough sweetness and I love that it's got real whole blueberries in it. It was very yummy and felt fancy even though it was so simple!
And of course I set out the lovely wines from Bright Cellars too. Sharing the love over here y'all!
The Reisling was outstanding! It took me straight back to my favorite German restaurant where I always got cheese and onion spätzle (noodles) and a big glass of Reisling. It definitely got a thumbs up from me. I'm glad it was in my first box from Bright Cellars.
While I was shopping at HomeGoods I also picked up this set of 4 modern etched glass stemless wine glasses. With summer just on the horizon it's the perfect time to enjoy these warmer evenings with chatting with friends, sipping wine, and watching the sunset!
A wine social is fun and easy to put together. Set out a few snacks, a couple bottles of wine and invite some friends over and viola you have a party! Hopefully this post will inspire you to try your own personalized wine experience with Bright Cellars and host your own wine social for neighbors, family or friends.
