What to Wear to a Launch Party

What to Wear to a Launch Party

Yay! Mom Boss released last week. My first book is OUT THERE! To answer the question: What to wear to a launch party, I went up to my favorite Brooklyn boutique called TANGO. They have a wonderful assortment. I can always find something every time I pop in. This, is why the world still need boutiques. We need curators of taste and style to sort through all the options to make it fun to get dressed.

For my launch party at the XOGroup, I wanted to wear something fun and comfortable. I wanted to be fancy, but not too fancy. This DVF romper with pockets was just the thing. It's pretty, lacy but also easy to sit in. Plus, bonus, it's got pockets.

I could sit and be comfortable. Plus the color was somewhat unexpected. I paired it with these new booties from Robert Clergerie. The Clergerie Admir bootie has a heel but I was still able to stand and work the room. It's a win.

I love the whole look and I wanted to treat myself after all the hard work that had gone into this event. A splurge on new shoes and a outfit seemed well deserved. It was so great to savor the moment and sip some Gooseneck Prosecco with friends. Friends like the incomparable Carley Roney, Co-Founder of Carley was beyond generous to give us space and lend her wisdom to the panel.
