Summer fashion tip: Wear a dress and bring Yosi Samra flats where ever you go. In a whirl-wind day--two "live" events, one twitter party, taping a PSA for www.onemoms.org and our fabulous editor's beauty event--I needed low-maintenance, high visibility fashion.
I opted for a punchy sundress from Three Dots. Made from jersey t-shirt fabric, this dress is so comfortable it's ridiculous. Like wearing a nightgown, but no one will give you a fashion ticket. Since I was racing hither and yon today, I was eager to test out my Yosi Samra flats. I'm in love. Look for a full feature on these soon.
As for accessories? Do two totes bags full of equipment and swag count? Didn't think so. I kept it pretty simple to start the day, just my trusty Swatch. Then I ran into Jessica from www.mommasgonecity.com and she handed me more swag--a gorgeous Tali Gillette necklace I won at the Cookies for Cancer benefit. Score! I was looking a lot more pulled together by 2pm.
By the time I made it to the Momtrends Beauty Bash, I was running low on fuel. Guess what? Elevator out. Did I tell you how much I adore those packable flats. Bye bye 3" wedges, hello flats as I raced up and down the 4 flights of stairs getting ready for the event. Then designer Lacey Ryan let me slip on a set of bracelets from her fall collection. Consider this outfit done!
