If my baby girl is anything, she's girly. Don't get me wrong. She definitely has her rough and tumble tendencies. She's certainly been known to roll around in the dirt on occasion, or pretty much every day, bwah! And don't get my started on sports. That child is a natural at anything involving a ball. But she'd happily do it all while wearing a dress. And she'll give bonus points if the dress is pink. I just love that about her. She equally embraces her feminine and sporty sides. So, I'm always on the lookout for new ways to incorporate her favorite color into her outfits. And that's why I'll be focusing on two ways to wear pink this spring today...
Now there are a couple of different ways to add a signature color to your wardrobe. You could go the head to toe route. Meaning you work various shades of pink, for example, from the accessories, to the dress and on to the shoes into your look. Or you could simply use it as an accent color. We do both. Being that she would prefer to have some form of pink in her outfit each and every day, Mama has to get creative. So, when I come across a new brand that offers up pretty-in-pink pieces or even colors and prints that go with pink, I snatch up what I can. Plus, pink is such a spring-ready hue. It's perfect for right now. So, I thought I would share a couple of her recent outfits to give you some spring pink wearing inspiration!
Skip the Crowds and Take Your Family Skiing in Waterville Valley

As you can see above, sometimes we go full on pink with it. From her pink floral hair adornment, to her pink print dress and landing on her pink sandals, the first outfit is a full on pink explosion. The reason it works is because the shades all coordinate. She also happens to be a cute little girl rockin' her favorite color. Her smile alone makes the look work. Am I right? And the reason for said smile is that she just loves her new Pulla Bulla dress and Stride Rite Petra sandals. How do you feel about those for fun ways to wear pink this spring?
And speaking of fun ways to wear pink...We saw Beauty and the Beast last weekend and my little miss just had to dress the part. She sported the Beauty and the Beast line from Target and we accented her Belle worthy Beauty and the Beast dress with pink moccasins and her favorite flower clip. Bright yellow and pink make for perfect partners. If you haven't tried out that combo yet, get on it. Wearing those vibrant colors together is such a cheerful way to celebrate the season!
