Work clothes just got a huge boost from Talbots. Talbots and O, The Oprah Magazine have teamed up for a give-back Dress for Success partnership. It's the perfect time to get great-looking clothes for spring and support an amazing cause.
At We Work, dogs are welcome and our cozy little spot must be a magnet to all the office dogs on our floor.I borrowed a We Work dog for our fashion shoot to show you how much fun these fashions are. Just when I was getting into a denim rut, I got this fantastic drawstring pant to mix things up. Paired with a crisp white shirt, this outfit can go anywhere. It's an easy style to put together and the shirt is flattering to so many shapes. This is O Magazine’s first ever clothing line and it's available now--including the look I've styled.
Here's a look at our little home away from home--where we dream up the editorial and events for Momtrends. It's been so amazing to have this company grow. I've been blessed with opportunities.
But opportunities don't fall out of the sky. You have to make them happen. Thankfully, I've always had the clothes I needed along the way.
Big interview? I had the suit for that. Sale presentation? I was ready with a dress that made me feel great. Because I have a closet that works for me. But not every woman has this luxury. She might not have the clothes to wear to an interview.
We all know how a great outfit can help boost confidence and help your talents shine through. That's why Talbots is teaming up with O, The Oprah Magazine. They designed an exclusive limited-edition 7 piece capsule collection to benefit Dress for Success.
Shop Talbots stores nationwide thru April 3rd and feel good that by refreshing your work wardrobe you'll be supporting women who need a boost--30% of the net proceeds benefit Dress for Success. Dress for Success is not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. I'm wearing the Eastport Paisley drawstring pant ($109) from Talbots with the Tuxedo shirt with Swiss-dot texture. You'll love the other pieces in the collection too. Including the cutest green cardigan and a pretty dress.
Since I added a few new things, I wanted to make sure to keep the closet balanced. It's time to clear some space (you know the Marie Kondo method). And what do you do with those clothes that don't work for you? Give them to someone in need.
Thanks to Talbots, you can not only can you look good with new clothes, you can also put your old ones to work. From March 3rd – March 6th you can donate gently work work clothing at your local Talbots store. All clothing and any monetary donations will go to Dress for Success. Last year Talbots raised $500,000 and collected over 4,000 boxes of clothing for DFS.
