I love how stitchfix.com gives you freedom to be REALLY picky about what you keep from the subscription. This is my latest box and I'm quite pleased with the offerings. On Facebook, I heard some horrible stories about holiday gifting gone bad. And I heard some stories of things going really well. Friends that got subscription boxes were thrilled--no returns necessary. Keep what you want, return the rest and no malls involved.
Plus, buying clothes for other people is hard. What we wear is so personal. Mr. Momtrends has only gifted me clothes when we travel. We spy a cute boutique, we shop together and then everyone is happy. Did you get a bunch of clothes you don't want this year? Gosh I hope not.
I hope I don't sound ungrateful saying I'd much rather get a handwritten card and a hug than a piece of clothing that's going to make me feel bad. That's why I adore having these boxes put together by my personal StitchFix stylist! I never seem to hurt her feelings when I tell her I don't like something. Leslie packed this one.
This month I was swooning over the box. The purple Market & Spruce sweater went immediately in my suitcase for a trip. I adore turtlenecks and this bold color is awesome for winter. That fun yellow "YO" or "OY" sign is from our local park. We've had a really mild December here in NYC so we've been able to get a lot of great shots outdoors. The Octavia scarf goes perfectly with the sweater.

Next is this cool longsleeve Morgan Mix top from Loveappella. I needed more layering pieces and this one is fantastic. You can see a bit of the Aiden Ankle jeans here. They were WAY too short on me and I didn't love the wash, so those went back too. Here's another look at the jeans. Meh?
The Blank NYC leather jacket from stitchfix.com was a tough call. The style is amazing. But I already have two leather jackets. So back it went--and no one had hurt feelings.
All in a pretty darn good box! I kept three things which I believe is my record. I'm looking forward to catching up with you all this week. Work is blessedly slow and I'm having fun reading and following everyone on instagram.
