Spring Florals From Zara
The girls were off for Easter break last week and I wanted to squeeze in a little culture and a mommy outing. First on our agenda was a trip to see a new sculpture on Wall Street called "Fearless Girl."
Artist Kristen Visbal created the bronze sculpture—the proximity is what really adds meaning. The strong little girl looks to be facing down the well-known Charging Bull statue. It was installed on March 7, 2017, and you can check it out at Morris and Broadway. You can read my thoughts about it here. I think the sculpture is loaded with meaning and it's an important conversation to have with your kids—both boys and girls.
To make the most of the day, we got a little dressed up in new Zara goodies. I'm wearing the printed Embroidered Blouse. I love the flowing top and the bold bright color. I paired it with Miraclebody Jeans and my Vionic suede boots.
The girls are wearing Zara girls—I love the sweet dresses and that they're only $40! They wore these for the photos AND for Easter. As for me, I know I'll wear this top a ton this spring.
Since the top is a pretty big statement, I keep everything else simple. A gold tote (also Zara) and a great pair of white jeans. Ladies, trust me—get your Clorox bleach pens and your white jeans ready—it's time to play with color.
Are you ready for florals? Let me know and I hope you are having a great spring.
