We are finally headed for a family vacation and in order to avoid over-packing I am limiting myself to just a few pairs of shoes. I am packing footwear that can cover all my daily activities, will be comfortable, look great, be lightweight and easy to pack. We will be hitting the beach as well as spending plenty of time in the great outdoors, hiking, and walking nature trails, and finishing our days with great dinners and dancing the night away.
1. Tsonga Tslops: I am IN love with these handmade, uber comfortable, thong sandals. They are so much more comfortable than your typical "flip flop". Tslops have an arch support, and are made from supple leather. I love how they are roomy at the front giving your toes room to spread without being sloppy and moving all around. These hand-stitched thong sandals are comfortable, non slip and simply stylish. Did I mention that are made handmade sustainably by a group of South African women? 2. ABEO: For days spent deep in outdoor activities, we need footwear that will be lightweight, supportive, and comfortable. We love our stylish ABEO AEROs for the way they look and feel. We can wear them all day; great for hiking, walking, and cross training. They are stylish enough to pop around town running errands. I love the black with the punch of green neon on my ABEO Ankaas. ABEO AERO features an advanced air-infused energy return outsole developed to absorb shock, improve mobility, and reduce impact on joints. Available through The Walking Company. They are available for both men and women and come in a variety of styles and colors.

3. The dancing shoe was a bit of a challenge. I wanted to be able to look great in a summer shoe but also be ready and able to hit the ground running the next morning. My heels from ECCO Omak Perf are gorgeous, soft as silk and unbelievably comfortable. They totally remind me of Charlotte's (SITC) beloved Italian shoes that she had to return because of the salesman's foot fetish...but I digress. The Omak Perf come in pretty pastels, as well as black, a chunky wooden heel for easy movement and an adjustable buckle for an individual fit. I know my ECCO Omak Perf shoes will hold up to my dancing expectations because I put them through the ultimate test of wearing them all day while completing my "chores." Not a hurting piggy in the bunch. I love the dainty cut -outs that compliment the modern style of the shoe, as its name states, it is shoe PERFection.
