When I'm putting together outfits, I look to so many sources for inspiration...from fellow bloggers, to my favorite glossies, celebrities, nature and even food...Yes, I said food. There are so many beautiful vibrant colors in our world and many of them are represented in food form like one of my favorite treats les macarons. I'm in the midst of planning a trip to Paris, so I have macarons on my mind even more so than usual! And that is saying a lot...because I would nosh on those delightful confections daily if I could. Haha!
I picked up these beauties as a little treat pour moi and I immediately noticed how gorgeous the deep, saturated colors were. They instantly made think about my fall wardrobe...I know we aren't ready to say goodbye to summer yet, but I've found that it's much easier to start picking up fall pieces mid-summer than doing all my fall shopping at once! So, I've been working on my fall fashion lust list the past few weeks and deeper colors are definitely on the agenda...
I've been particularly drawn to military green and olive hues. That happens to be the pistachio macaron that you see here. It's one of my favorite flavors and once again military green is one of my favorite fall fashion trends! J. Crew, for instance, has some great military green options! The real problem will be narrowing down my favorites...
