How to Wear Leggings and Jeggings

My favorite season is here...LEGGINGS season! Haha! Seriously...if there is one type of clothing in my wardrobe that gets the most wear in the fall and winter, it's definitely leggings. I'm not talking about frumpy mom leggings, no no no. Leggings can be perfectly stylish. So, let's talk about how to wear leggings. It's all about the presentation. Leggings are proof positive that you don't have to sacrifice style for comfort! And I'm sure you fellow busy mamas have no desire to run around in uncomfortable outfits any more than I do. So, I've rounded up some easy outfit ideas featuring leggings just for you!

Leggings and booties...Instead of styling your leggings with an oversized tee, throw on a blouse and some booties with leggings that have a finish, like this faux suede looking pair, and you'll have a pulled together look that you can even wear to the office! Leggings at the office? Gasp! Haha!

Colored leggings...Sure you can find neutral colored leggings, especially black, in spades, but why not try on some colored leggings for size? This cranberry pair from Megan of Take Time for Style is more like jeggings, but you get the picture. They give a simple winter white sweater a decidedly festive look!

Leggings and accessories...A basic tunic and leggings combo can really be jazzed up with accessories. Add an oversized scarf in a statement color, like Carly from Thirty Something Fashion did, and you go from comfy to comfy chic in no time flat! And boots with killer details like studs don't hurt the look either. Just sayin'.

Shop the looks: suede like leggings / brown booties / cranberry jeggings / winter white sweater / black leggings / cranberry scarf

So, there you have it...our take on how to wear leggings this fall and winter. How will YOU be wearing them?
