Don't worry about the heat! This post is about hot weather style. I've got some ideas on how to look great when it's hot. First rule: less is more. Keep it simple in the summer.
It might seem like all i wear in the summer is sundresses. BINGO. You are correct. Why make things complicated when you can simplify things down to one piece. Take this Splendid layered dress. It looks good on everyone (it's loose not clingy and the color is flattering to so many skin colors. It can be a swim cover-up or a dress to wear out at night. You can style it any way you like.
For me, I picked fancy shoes and a big shell necklace I picked up in the Bahamas. The shell necklace was $10 on vacation--an it makes me happy to wear. It reminds me of vacation and the beach. That's the best part of vacation purchases, they make the memories last.
Now I know you want to know more about these sandals. Yes, the pom pom trend is big right now. I think this trend might have to live with the 20-year olds. It's a tough one to pull off. Really high maintenance. In fact, they even provide extra pom poms because they predict the shoes will dismantle.
But, I will share the detail, because they LOOK fabulous: Chinese Laundry sandals.
The last touch was something I've owned for a few years--the Stella & Dot Avalon Tote. The neutral leather color is summer perfection. That's how I am staying cool, hope you are having some fun with summer style too.
