My Go-to School Drop-Off Style

If school hasn't already started for your kiddos, it's about to. With a new school year comes an opportunity to amp up your school drop-off style. Trust me...I know how hard it is to get your kids ready and out the door in the morning. Your look is the last thing you focus on, right? You just need to have that ever present travel mug filled of steaming hot coffee in your hand. I feel you. And I'm certainly not suggesting that you give up your affinity for athleisure any time soon. Mama needs her yoga pants. Am I right? Bwah!

Hey, I have fully embraced the athleisure trend too and can be caught in it more often than not these days. But there are ways to rock athleisure that make you look less messy and more pulled together! I promise. So, I've decided to share my go-to school drop-off style. It's easy and comfy, yet still totally cute. And the best part is, you can throw a look like this together in mere minutes if you stock your closet with the right kind of pieces!

One of my favorite new athleisure pieces, for instance, is a pair of metallic leggings from Mira Rae. You may remember when I shared my daughter's matching pair of metallic leggings a few weeks back. Well, mama has her own! And I find myself turning to them again and again. Not only do they make me look fierce when I'm out for a run, but they're perfect to throw on in the morning as I head out to drop off the kids at school. They're statement making enough on their own. I need to add little else to my school drop-off style but an easy breezy white tee, my go-to Star Wars baseball cap (on a side note, Gap makes great ones and I'm crushin' on their velvet hats this season) and sneakers. Supergas for the win!
