Ellen Tracy designs for the woman who lives in the moment, and I was thrilled to take a few moments out of my day to help them with a special spring campaign. I joined two blogging friends, Karen Blanchard from wheredidugetthat.com and Tiffany Pham from onmogul.com (thank you Karen for the featured photo!). We headed to three iconic spots around the city to capture our other loves.
You can check it out today on social media as Ellen Tracy shares a series of 360 videos.
For me family comes first, I have set up my whole career to be able to be fully present for my family. Next comes work. I am passionate about the community we've created here at Momtrends. Then there's fitness...my other love. Finding time for fitness keeps me sane. In fact, right now I'm training for another Brooklyn Half Marathon. I'm getting up early to squeeze in my runs. I need to stay strong so I have great energy for my girls, my husband, my team and myself. It's the quiet quality time I crave in my chaotic life. Ellen Tracy is highlighting all the things that make women fascinating in #MyOtherLove campaign. It's going to be a blast to follow along.
They wanted the photo shoot to be dynamic so we moved around a lot. These ladies were a blast to hang out with for the day. We started the day at the Botanical Gardens. The orchid show was in full bloom there. It made for a stunning backdrop for the first location. The Colorblock Floral Print Shift Dress was the perfect pick for the colorful setting.
The backdrop was stunning, and it'a good thing we were inside--the morning started out on rain. The camera crew set us up around the fountain for the 360 video. In between takes we got to explore the garden before it opened to the public. What a treat!
Next stop was Grand Central Station. Shooting there was a hoot. The space is always busy and we gathered a crowd.

Stylish Beach Accessories for a Day in the Sun, Sand, and Surf
I've been coveting this Eugenia Kim sun hat that's been all over Instagram for the past two months. With a wide-brim and the words "Do Not Disturb" embroidered on the front, it's the ideal accessory for a quiet day of reading on the beach. Built-in shade, some peaceful privacy, ...read more
How to Get Your Child Involved in Ski Racing
Do you ever watch the Winter Olympics with your family? We sure do at this house. Seeing the ski racers fly down the mountains was a big part of what attracted our girls to ski racing, but the biggest draw was friendship and time spent in the snow. If you are wondering how to get ...read more
The last stop was Times Square. The weather cleared up just in time to get in our last shots. The day was so much fun. What do you think of my new neutral nail polish? I got this special gel manicure from PaintBox in Soho.
There will be more shots coming on the Ellen Tracy social media pages with images from Grand Central and Times'Square. I'll leave you with this shot...since I've got to fuel all that running, I got to snack! I was wearing the Cotton Fit & Flare Dress.
With all that you juggle every day, you've still got to find time to indulge in your other loves. Whether it's traveling abroad, rescuing animals, riding your motorcycle or eating from food trucks (ha!) – every day is a new adventure for you. I hope you'll join me on this #MyOtherLove fun.
