Boys Fashion and Contest

Poor boys - so neglected! (fashion-wise anyway). Not this season. Not at Arte Bebe. They have the coolest stuff for boys this fall - tees, button-downs, knit sweaters and more. I especially like the layered animal tees and plaid pants from Okkies ($52), Wonderboy's hip button downs (dig the colors and patterns this season), the original "textured" graphic tops and hoodies from Monster Republic and Appaman's cooler-than-cool puffy black jacket (shown $88).

Little dudes gravitate to many things: cars, bugs and of course DINOSAURS. We've found a fresh new take on the Jurassic theme at Playground Partisans. Designer Judith Engleman originally hails from Berlin. Love and marriage brought her to the US. Wanting a fresh start (she used to design women's fashions), she started whipping up trendy tot clothes.

"I had so much fun with the kids clothing. When my friends started to order from me I decided to try to my own label," says Judith. An admitted dinosaur freak, Judith is thrilled to share her fascination with her pint-sized fans. I love her tees because the graphics are more friendly (got to love Horst the Triceratops) than fierce.
