For our latest fashion assignment, we were sent a new white blouse from ElizabethDaniel NY to style, home to must-have white & black collared shits. Since we don't wear many suits these days, we decided to layer this top under one of our favorite cashmere cardigans from Ralph Lauren and create a little bohemian look with vintage-looking, belts, boots and earrings.
We love the way the blouse worked effortlessly as a layering piece. Just like the LBD, every woman needs a crisp, white collared shirt in her closet. Worn alone or layered, these shirts can easily be paired with jeans and a cardigan, or worn with a suit for office moms. We love the fitted shape of this shirt--no weird bagging or bunching. It's comfortable, smooth and slim thanks to a touch of spandex.
5 Pretty Ways To Organize Your Jewelry
I admit - I'm guilt. Despite my best efforts, my "jewelry drawer" has become a tangled mess of necklaces, bracelets and earrings. This cluttered collection not only makes it hard to see what I have, but difficult to untangle the pieces I do want to wear! This summer, I'm ...read more

Crystal Clear and Pristine: Pool-Cleaning Tips

I'm wearing the Elizabeth Daniels Ruffle ($138) sizes XS-L. I paired it with my NYDJ Jeans (see this post) and a vintage cable cardigan from Ralph Lauren (go to polo.com here to see a similar one).I'm also wearing a favorite pair of turquoise earrings from Stella & Dot.
The look fits with my slightly bo-ho style, yet the ruffle top could just as easily work under a suit. We all need versatile pieces like this that can do double-duty. I wore this outfit to drop-off and then a few meetings in NYC. I felt, pretty and put-together at the beginning of the day and at the end. That's the value of a great top.
