With kids out for winter break we have been searching for fun and educational activities to enjoy with our kids. The DiMenna Childrens History Museum at the New-York Historical Society has an excellent program where kids of all ages can participate in scavenger hunts, games, quizzes and crafts. Calling all history buffs! Dress up as your favorite historical figure fictional or real! Practice walking, talking and acting like a historical figure with our acting coach, and then enter our costume contest. Prizes for participation, and grand prize winners in time-period categories.
