This weekend my daughters and I had a blast watching Disney Live! Mickeys Music Festivalwhere we had the chance to see Mickey Mouse and friends rock the world with the characters from The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Disney/PixarsToy Story. This includedMickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy; Ariel, Sebastian and Ursula; Jasmine, Aladdin and Genie; and Woody, Buzz and Jessie. My daughters were so excited as this lively show took them through various scenes from these popular movies with music, dancing and non-stop energy. My older loved the part with the Little Mermaid, while my younger one was laughing and smiling anytime everyone's favorite mouse came back on stage. Personally, I loved that the show included a mix of different types of music (in between the classic Disney songs) from hip hop to reggae to rock, that got the whole crowd on their feet.
Before the show, I also had the chance to interview some celebrities during a VIP meet and greet party. My favorite interview was with Eric Dane(Greys Anatomy) and his wife Rebecca Gayheart(Jawbreaker) who were juggling their two small children. I told her I could relate to how she was holding (and chasing after both kids) where she stated, "it's all about survival right now." During the party my girls loved getting their faces painted, dancing, music, dancing, arts & crafts and much more!
Bethenny Frankel (Bethenny) was also in attendance dancing away with her daughter as was Jane Krakowski(30 Rock) and her son. I also loved meeting Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie) who spoke of the magic of Disney for kids. Also in attendance wasJoy Behar (The View),Ali Wentworth (Author, Ali in Wonderland), Michael Kelly (House of Cards) and Princess Superstar (Celebrity DJ).
A show for kids of all ages, Disney Live is an energetic, lively and fun show for kids of all ages that is sure to create memories that will last a lifetime.
