To end the excitement of BlogHer Momtrends and Lands' End hosted a school-themed event with a focus on fun fashions for back to school. Guests arrived to EZStudios via a classic yellow bus where they were given a report card to go through various experiences as they learned all about pants, backpacks, first day of school looks, options for healthy lunches, dresses, plus size fashions and more - all while learning about the latest looks from this iconic brand.
Night School with Lands' End and Momtrends Event
Held on three floors, guests had to go through the various "courses" (Pants 101, Design Your First Day, Dress Test, Hair School, Backpack Philosophy, etc) and learn everything about their latests styles to the science of their pants in order to receive an A+ for a fun prize at the end.
As a signature Momtrends event this also included some pampering thanks to the hair geniuses from Warren Tricomi and makeup touch-ups using products from Revlon. Guests also learned new techniques and checked out Revlon's new Root Erase product line and ColorStay makeup before getting a glam shot that they can upload at home to use for their own blogs.
As part of Night School, guests also had some nutrition lessons with Chef Sam Talbot (Top Chef) who shared some healthy an easy recipe ideas with guacamole, peanut butter and jelly, and grilled fruit. The recipes were standard, but Sam mixed them up with making simple changes like adding blueberries into a peanut butter sandwich or almonds into guacamole - delish!
Happy Family was also at the event and showcased their delicious line of kid, toddler and baby snacks including their HappyTot Plus line and new kid snack line featuring freeze-dried carrots, yogurt, apple and sunflower. We were also excited to hear that they will be launching a line for everyone (including adults!) with a line of squeezable smoothies, coconut milk, carmel apple treats and fruit and veggie twists. It's great to get all this lunchbox inspiration.
