It is challenging to put the same attention to myself as I do my family. My hair is something that definitely gets neglected where I favor a ponytail when I know I really need some TLC in the form of a trim, blowout or treatment. I recently had the chance to take some time for myself and get a Kerastase treatment, hair cut and blowout right in NYC.
I planned my cut at the Salon Ziba right before the Healthy Child Healthy World event in NYC. Greeted by a friendly stylist, I had my hair washed and massaged and actually relaxed. It was invigorating to receive a scalp massage as he placed in the Kerastase treatment that is designed to treat dry, damaged and weak hair. My stylist picked one for my specific hair type and applied it throughout my hair. He mentioned that these are great to get every 4 weeks and can really soothe and treat the hair quickly.

Some people were getting color added to their hair, while others were getting blow-outs. There was a mix of ages there as they treated a variety of textures and hair types.

The salon caterers to a variety of cliente and offers flexible hours, so moms can fit it some 'me-time' without having to wait a long time or book an appointment that far in advance.
After my own cut, I received a blow out, and in a little over an hour I was done and ready for the event. My stylist finished off my look with a smoothing cream and gave me some advice on what products to use in-between trims.
