We love fall fashion for kids and with cute trends like mix and match prints, rocker tees, and playful street clothes, this season is looking to be really a fun and expressive one for kids. I recently had the opportunity to view some of the latest back to school fashions at an event sponsored by Diesel Kid. Back with kiddos of all ages, a photo booth, and video games, this event was the perfect backdrop to take a peek at the hottest trends for the fall.
At the store, I loved the collection of really fun clothes like stylish purple sweaters and puffy pink coats for girls and military pants and distressed jeans for boys. For the girls, I liked that the clothes weren't too girly (think glittery) but they featured stylish and unique prints and colors that were a bit edgy with inspiration from rock and roll glam to pop star chic with lots of color, fake furs, and chunky boots. Boys will love the worn-in jean look and gray jeans that can easily be paired with his favorite rocker tee.
The fashions at Diesel also reflect a look of "street-style fashions," which on the Diesel site features a photographic diary, that reports live about kids in real life situations, targeting the modern moms looking for an up-beat closet for their children.
Along with this '??blogging'? campaign, you can also find a printed and video format of their clothes, showcasing detailed shots of the garments, a website giving the consumer the Diesel Kid experience, as well as a facebook application. There is also an interactive and colorful iPhone application where the whole family can play with the collection and virtually '??try on'? the clothes and ultimately purchase them.
