Disney Interactive: Video Games

We got to get an exclusive look at what's happening over at Disney Interactive-- and we are liking it. A lot. They bring us Cars 2, LEGO® Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game, and Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension.

At the Eventi Hotel in Manhattan, we were able to go behind the scenes of Disney's latest releases (and eat some cake shaped like the featured characters). With the anticipated arrival of the movie Cars 2, Disney let's kids get a taste with Cars 2: The Video Game. It's a first person driving game that will leave your kids exhilarated and educated. They learn how to become a spy (this game is good for your child's friends too since they can play in either single or multiplayer modes with up to four people) and have to succeed in missions in order to unlock new tracks, characters, events, and thrilling spy missions.

LEGO® Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game takes you into the world of Jack Sparrow in the quirky and cute LEGO style. Players experience all the memorable scenes from the first three films, as well as those in the upcoming fourth film, '??Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,'? while completing tasks (simple enough for your 5 year old but challenging enough to keep them entertained) and exploring the pirate world.

Lastly we were able to try Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension. Disney plays it right--there's another movie coming out with the same name and kids will be able to see a little of what it's about in this action-packed game. They can conquer all new worlds in this combat game. No worries-- it's exciting and non-violent.

All games will be available on multiple platforms. Check out Disney for pricing and release dates.
