This isn't your Grandfather's Impala! My knowledge of the Chevy Impala was that it had a large trunk space and plenty of room in the back seat. These two features still are consistent, but now this stylish car has so much more.
This past week, I attended the Chevy Urban Style launch at Milk Studios in NYC. Here, we mingled with the designers of the redesigned Impala and learned about what happens behind the scenes and how the new Impala came to be. Crystal Windham, Director of GM design and Kara Gordon GM Noise & Vibration Performance Development Engineer are two women behind the new style of the 2014 Impala. Smart powerful women are continuing to do great things at GM! I reconnected with Kara Gordon after originally meeting her this past summer for the Malibu.
While listening to the DJ set the tone for the evening, I hopped in the Impala to check out some of the hi-tech features. Can you see me in the driver's seat?
While in the car, I learned that your phone can be connected and integrated into your car system.
The 2014 Impala is equipped with the newest Chevrolet MyLink in-car infotainment system, which seamlessly integrates Bluetooth® wireless for select phones, advanced touch-screen technology and natural voice recognition. It allows drivers to make calls, stream music from online services like Pandora,® operate USB-connected devices and so much more with ease. They can even customize the high-resolution 8-inch color touch-screen for quicker access to the features they use most. Its advanced technology that makes connectivity a whole lot simpler.
I must say, I love the luxury and roomy look of the new 2014 Chevy Impala. It is definitely a car to check out if you are in the market to buy!
