BlogHer Recap Day 2

Yesterday we talked about BlogHer fashion now on to Day 2 Recap--we can now talk about another topic bonding (don't worry there will be fashion too!). So on Day 2 we go up way too early to start the day with a 5k run. Blame it on my dear friend Andrea Fellman to run on Team Amazaballs. Champion gave us the pink, Andrea gave us the name. We ran to promote fitness, health and friendship.

Next up? A breakfast with the Got Milk? team to celebrate two shining stars in our community-- Audrey McClelland  and Colleen Padilla y just launched a new book and we toasted them with OJ, massive waffles and big hugs. Congrats again ladies. I got a signed copy you can get your copy on Amazon.

Time to finally head to the conference hall. I loaded up my Thanks-A-Latte cards and headed to the EXPO to check out the booths. One of my favorite treats was the hand massage at the Chase booth. My least favorite thing? That super cute denim jacket I wore got stolen. Bummer. But I wasn't alone--quite a few other bloggers had wallets stolen. Yikes. I though NYC was bad.

After meeting up with all my pals at the conference it was time to get partying again. I started things off with a massage at the Shop at Home suite and hung out with Caryn Bailey. What a great Mommy time out. Then it was off to Dawn and Elizabeth's awesome Cheap Sally Dance Party at the Stingaree lounge.

After a brief stop at The Hostess with the Mostess, I headed to see what my NYC pals Moms & the City were up to. The held their swank launch party for at the Museum of Contemporary Art. I loved the vibe and picked up the best swag of the trip--a Glee Dance DVD for my girls. The ride home on the pedicabs was all giggles with our Lands' End Moms Kate and Jo-Lynne. Did we see fireworks on our way home? Yes we did. What a day.
