Film is such an incredible medium to understand and relate to characters and their hardships. We are particularly always excited about films that highlight women, especially those that chronicle the ups and downs of modern motherhood. A new film, Small, Beautifully Moving Parts, discusses interesting themes like technology, pregnancy and urban motherhood as seen through the eyes of pregnant technophile Sarah Sparks (Anna Margaret Hollyman). Written and directed by Annie J. Howell and Lisa Robinson, the film highlights Sarah and her uncertainties about motherhood that trigger an impulsive road trip to the source of her anxiety: her mother living far away and off-the-grid. Inspired by Annie and Lisa's Sundance Channel-licensed web series Sparks, the film is coming to the Village Cinemas on May 11 and you can watch more of the trailer here.
