Martha Stewart Calls for Entries for American Made

American Made Audience Choice Awards

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia is currently accepting submissions for the 2013 American Made Audience Choice Awards. With its mission of honoring and celebrating American Makers who have turned their passion for handcrafted, well-designed goods into small businesses, the Audience Choice Award is an opportunity for these creative entrepreneurs to be recognized across six categories: food, craft, design, style, gardening, and technology.

Nominations can be submitted on the American Made website and entrants are encouraged to share their Maker story through words, images and videos with the American Made online community. The nominee with the most votes in each category will receive an American Made Gift Basket as well as be featured on the American Made website and on Martha Stewart Living Sirius XM radio. From this group of finalists, the audience will choose the Grand Prize Winner who will receive $10,000 to further his or her business, a trip for two to New York City to attend and be honored at the American Made Awards, a photo and video shoot with the editors of Martha Stewart Living, and a feature on

  • Nomination Entry Period – Begins at 9:00AM ET on June 20, 2013 and ends at 11:59PM ET on August, 23, 2012.
  • Public Voting For Category Winners – Begins at 9:00AM ET on August 26, 2013 and ends at 11:59PM ET on September 13, 2013.
  • Public Voting for the Audience Choice Award Grand Prize Winner – Begins at 9:00AM ET on September 17, 2013 and ends at 11:59PM ET on September 22, 2013.
  • Winners Announcement – The six (6) Category Winners will be announced on September 16, 2013. The Audience Choice Award Grand Prize Winner will be announced on or before October 7, 2013.
