Just in time for Mother's Day (May 10th) it's time to talk Hallmark. When you care enough to send the very best...remember this ad. Still holds true today. Hallmark has modernized in many ways but at its core they still wants us to connect with the ones we love.

Hallmark contacted me about a month ago to try their new 1-2-3 service. Here's the deal: Go online and pick out your paper card. Personalize it on your computer. Hallmark takes it form there and mails and addresses your card. No excuses this year for missing Mother's Day.

I like the "You Put Up With This" card (right). Says it all for $3.49. There are plenty of sweet sentiments too. I just like to be a bit sassy. Then I added a note (make it as long or short as you want--the options are all up to you). I said, "Mom, now that I am a mom I appreciate everything your did for me!" Then you move along to the addressing (you can build up an address book online--a real time saver). You can even pick the arrival date. What does it cost you ask? Hallmark only charges standard rates for postage, 42 cents. Love it! I don't even have to dig up stamps!

Hallmark is making it even easier by offering Momtrends readers 30% off their online orders. Use code MOM30 at checkout when you buy 2 or more cards (one for mom, one for grandma, the mother-in-law, your best friend, you get the picture)

Find your favorite Mother's Day card and come back here and leave a comment.

Be sure to add your contact email. Contest open to US residents ages 18 and over. Contest ends 5/9/09. Winner will be selected by random.org. Winners will be announced on a blog post. If winner fails to respond in three days a new winner will be chosen.
