One thing I pride myself about--I spend and enormous amount of time testing everything I write about. When I partnered up with Ecostore, I made it clear: I write my own posts and I won't be told what to say. Their reply: "Great, we want you to test everything." These people simply had no fear of the mommy blogger. Why? Well after my testing I'm guessing its because they spend quite a bit of time formulating their products.
To start, I've been working in the kitchen. Not a problem for this mom to test automatic dish soap or handwashing soap since I spend about three hours a day cleaning dishes (or does it just seem that way?). Honestly, we cook at home all the time. This means we run the dishwasher approximately every 36 hours. I wasn't sure if Ecostore's Auto Dish Powder ($12 for 35 oz) which is plant based would meet our standards. I swear if you read the ingredients you'd think you were reading a food label: Palm and coconut based cleaners. My report: Everything looked spic and span.
As for the Dishwash Liquid ($8.50 for 17 oz)--it was gentle on the glasses, and pretty good on the grease. The best part--the subtle lemon scent from the natural citrus oils inside. For parents that are picky about what their family eats, eco-friendly dish soaps from Ecostore just make sense.
