The Appaman+Target+Baby Buggy breakfast launch was a love fest this morning. The media breakfast at Sarabeth's brought many of my favorite people together in one room all for a great cause. Appaman is launching a limited edition collection of baby clothing in a short-term partnership with Target.

Here's the best part--10% of each sale will go to my favorite cause BabyBuggy.org. Baby Buggy was founded ten years ago by the force of nature named Jessica Seinfeld. She started with a mission--getting gently used baby gear into the hands of NYC families in desperate need--and she hasn't stopped working on this cause since. Thanks to her go, go, go attitude and key partnerships such as this one with Appaman, Baby Buggy has placed more than 4.6 million items of baby gear into the hands of deserving families.

Appaman Founders Lynn (that's Lynn in the photo above) and Harald have been supporting Baby Buggy from the beginning. They have been donating brand new Appaman apparel to Baby Buggy for years. Lynn said she was blown away by the chance to work with Target. The graphic collection has plenty of the iconic monkeys in baby sizes--something that has never been available before. And Appaman has used the sourcing power of Target to come up with some mighty tempting prices. For example, a Tee and Short sets is $12.99 and onesies are $6.99. Ridiculously affordable and hip! "We come from families that give back," says Lynn. So it felt natural that once her business was in a position to give they made it a priority.

If you need a baby gift, or are expecting, shop for a cause and shop Appaman for Target. The minimum donation will be $300,000 but if the collection sells out (as it should!) the donation will go up to $500,000.
