Here's your chance to a.) tackle some spring clutter control b.) take part in an Earth Day recycling effort and c.) support a great charity. The New York Kids Club, in partnership with Second Chance Toys, will be hosting a toy drive April 12th-April 22nd at each of their six locations.
Second Chance Toys is a community-based initiative that rescues unwanted plastic toys that are gently used and distributes them to children in need through local community organizations.Instead of tossing the toys that your kids have outgrown (any you know they will NEVER disintegrate in the land fills) you'll give them a new happy home with kids in need.
Drop boxes will be in the lobby of each location for the next two weeks. For a list of locations visit www.nykidsclub.com and click "locations" for more information about Second Chance Toys, check out their blog here.
