The NYC Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is just a few days away from celebrating their 20th anniversary! In honor of the race taking place on September 12th, New York is turning pink the week of September 7th. City in Pink is a tribute to breast cancer survivors and those who have been affected by or lost their lives to the disease.
Since 1994, the owners and managers of various building and stores – and now websites – across NYC have shown their commitment to breast cancer awareness by illuminating with pink lights the week of September 7th.
