It’s no secret that I love a new holiday book. Give me a good Rudolph read and some hot cocoa and I’ll happily curl up with my kids for some fireside snuggles. Adding to our holiday book collection is one of the great joys of the season for my family of budding bookworms.

That’s why I was so excited to learn that Mabel’s Labels, the makers of those adorably charming name labels, has launched personalized books. Available in hard cover and soft cover, these sweet and charming books put your children at the center of their most beloved stories.

I got my mini man “Paw Patrol: My Christmas Adventure With the Pups," and the second he spotted his name on the first page, his face lit up. When he realized his sister and friends were a part of the action too, he was absolutely tickled. In this exciting book, the Paw Patrol gang along with “Grant” and his besties are tasked with helping Santa save Christmas and deliver all the holiday gifts to girls and boys both near and far. Grant especially loved the part where Santa personally thanked him, permanently put him on the nice list, and told him he’d send him a special gift on July 21, his birthday! Of course, my favorite part was the dedication page where I was able to express love for my boy and his growing book collection.

It was such a hit that I’m definitely going to order the personalized Disney Princess collection book for my little lady and the TMNT book for my dude. (These will most definitely be going under the tree or in the stocking this year!) There are also a few personalized Star Wars books to pick from and even a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse read (who wouldn’t want to hang with that crew?!).

I love that these books spark imagination and creativity while putting my littles in the middle of an adventure. It makes reading time even more special and extra fun. Now all we need is some whipped cream and a warm blanket. Family reading time is the best.
