Bedtime With Skip Hop

Out of the blue, my three-year-old son has decided he's scared of the dark. It's been a bit trying on him and made bedtime more of a challenge (and, believe you me, it was already pretty darn challenging to begin with).

Fortunately, I found two things from Skip Hop that have helped make nighttime a little less scary and a whole lot more fun for my mini man:

These are my big boy's favorite PJs right now. They're comfy, soft, and absolutely adorable. Skip Hop has expanded their ZOOjama sets for toddlers and kids, and I am smitten with these colorful cuties. (They're also available in Owl, Monkey, Ladybug, Bee, and Giraffe form). At night, I tell him it's time for him and his jammie doggie" to go to sleep... That always elicits a giggle!

The Moonlight & Melodies Nightlight Soother features a friendly owl character with a dimmable nightlight belly that emits a warm glow as well as an adjustable pivot lens that projects a starry nightscape onto any surface. Every night, the little guy and I stare up at the "stars" and make up our own bedtime stories before I tuck him in. I leave the "belly" light on for him as well the ambient "rain" sound setting.
