A Trip to the Farmers Market: Fruits, Veggies, and Babies

If you need to reach me on a weekend afternoon, chances are, you’ll find me at a local farmer’s market. It’s sort of my “thing” in the spring. I could wander around endlessly taste testing raw honey, picking fresh fruits and veggies, and soaking up the sunshine with my little ones in tow. (They’ll maybe last an hour, but a mom can dream!... At least I can bribe my toddler to cooperate with nature’s candy. Win-win.)

There’s something about the slight breeze and the smell of sweet melons and earthy greens that make my heart happy. And after the long, painful winter we had this year, I couldn’t be more excited to pop my munchkins in their double stroller and enjoy all the outdoor markets we can find. Organic produce, fresh air, and happy kids—yes, for me, farmer’s markets and babies go hand in hand.

To celebrate the season and all of nature’s goodness, I’ve curated a few cute and fun fruit and veggie-inspired baby outfits that are ripe for the picking. I’m all about dressing for the occasion—and in this case, my baby will be the sweetest, plumpest, most delicious berry of all. I could just eat her up.
