I'm sure you've noticed the influx of Vitamin C based skincare products that have shown up in recent years right? Well, there is a very good reason for that...Vitamin C is a powerhouse ingredient that can do wonders for your skin!
As I've approached my mid thirties, I've definitely noticed a lack of elasticity in my skin. I'm certainly not 21 anymore and that's ok. I'm having a blast in my thirties, and in fact it's been my favorite decade of of my life so far, but I wouldn't mind if my skin held on to a youthful appearance for MANY more years! Who's with me? Luckily, Vitamin C and its antixoident properties play a role in collagen production which can aid with improving elasticity. I have no problem with my age, but I don't have to wear it on my skin do I?
Another skin bother that Vitamin C can help with is discoloration. I can't be the only who's started to see age spots pop up. Ugh! I have a couple pesky little spots on my cheek and chest that drive me crazy, so I'm all for products that can help with fading those spots! Of course, your first line of defenses should be protecting your skin from the sun and eating a healthy diet rich in nutrients. But I bet many of you are already on top of that, so now it's time to get serious about your skincare routine and adding Vitamin C to it is a great idea!
